My little man is officialy a 2 years old toddler

I cannot believe that my precious little boy turned two last week on 5 April. We had a big family celebration at home, I cooked a 2 course lunch (with a little bit of help from my mum), it was a lovely day spent with uncles, aunties, grandma Gabi, grandma Mila and grandpa Janusz and cousins: Zuza and Igor. Orlando loved his cake (which I baked for him) and at the end of the busy day was very exhausted :)

Cocoa-azure linen didy

Let me tell you a little story behind this project... We have been thinking about our forthcoming holidays... and then decided to book a 2 weeks holiday in sunny Corfu, a very lush and green Greek island on the Ionian Sea.... The day we paid for our flight, I had a go at this gradation project... Here is a cup of warm cocoa..and the clear waters of the Ionian Sea :)
This wrap has a new home now, a lovely babywearing mama from 'over the big pond' received this linen last week and I am pleased to say that she has already fallen in love with it. You can see how lovely both mama and her cutie baby look in this indio if you click on the link below:

Pink/greey linen indio...

This is such a happy go lucky wrap :) Candy pink combined with a coold grey, perfect for a little princess... the cutest baby girl ever :)

I have dyed this wrap for a friend of mine, I am so pleased that they like their new fluffy...

Thinking of a peach sorbet... my first ever silk gradation

I must admit that I was a bit nervous before embarking on this 'silk gradation' journey...I had tried to do a lot of research on various silk dyeing techniques and in the end decided to use acid dyes and fairly hot water (so to achieve a contrast between silk and cotton threads).

This is so far my favourite gradation, I am so pleased that this silk indio has retained its silky feel and it is a joy to wrap with. This one will become a legacy wrap...

Here is a fun photo of a cute mama and her precious little boy.

My sunny hemp

In the midst of horrible, wintery weather I was longing for a summer sun...Here is my sunny hemp gradation, I shall keep this wrap for teh next baby...crazy idea, because I am not even pg yet... but this is my fav hemp so far :)

Time for bamboo nati gradations

When I first opened a box with my brand new bamboo nati, I was amazed how soft this wrap was... wow... Let me tell you more about bamboo natis. They are awsame nb wraps, do not require any breaking in, just soft and yummy straight out of the box.

I had a great time dyeing my first bamboo nati, the end result was a smooth, gentle flow of colour, just perfect imho.... Here are some photos of three bamboo natis I have dyed.

Have a look yourself :)

Chocomint hemp...

This was the first gradation dye project I have done on somebody else's wrap. I must admit I was very nervous, but it turned out fine :)

We have had fun taking these snaps, my ever so helpful 10 years old photographer did a great job... well done Oscar!

I love this orchid linen

I was so pleased with the outcome of this gradation, which I did this week :) I love the colour combo, the delicate shades of pale green and lilac and the way these two colours meet in the middle. I posted this wrap to day to a very sweet mama in the States.

A very fresh cotton indio....

I simply love the happy-go-lucky colours of this cotton indio :)

Time for a green linen gradation

Using two shades of green I have managed to create a very fresh gradation... perfect for spring!

Another pink linen gradation

This gradation was a very smooth one.. with subtle shades of pink.

My gradations

This was one of the first gradations on a linen indio... a candy pink with steal grey
